LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
For those of you who like to cycle or walk, there is plenty to interest you. One of last season's guests, who is well placed in the cycling world, highly rated the local cycling and the Dordogne as a whole. The local tourist office have 350km of marked cycle ways, not including the local, and very quiet, country roads. The tourist office have also marked 480km of walking routes for those of you who prefer foot rather than pedal power. Chantegrel is situated half a mile North of 'Grand Route 6' which runs East/West along the ridges just to the North of Sarlat. We offer secure a lock up for cycles and have a facility to clean to enable you to clean your cycle after an 'off road' session. For those of you who wish to walk a bit further during the day, by arrangement, we can pick you up from a given location.
